मुश्किल है

 

बेहिसाब का हिसाब लगाना,

मुश्किल है

अब और लब पर,

बात दबाना मुश्किल है

 

कहने को तो पूछ लिया,

करते हो तुम

पर हाल-ए-दिल,

तुमको बताना मुश्किल है

 

सोचा तो था कि,

हम पूछ लेंगे

पर हटते क़दमों को बढ़ाना,

मुश्किल है

 

जो जा-जाकर,

लौट कर आ जाये

ऐसे जाते को भुलाना,

मुश्किल है

 

वक़्त का सुना है,

भर देता है हर घाव

उम्र बीत गई,

वो बात भुलाना मुश्किल है

 

अटकले लगाते रहेंगे,

जानने वाले

किसी को कोई जान जाये,

इतना याराना मुश्किल है      

बेहिसाब का हिसाब लगाना,

मुश्किल है
